BTU Ventures (www.btuventures.com) is a private equity firm established in 2003 to develop and invest in independent power, water desalination and district energy projects in emerging markets.
Prior to winding down its operations in 2012, BTU Ventures had $350 million of institutional equity under management invested in over 6,000 MW of electric power generation (gross) located in China, Taiwan, South Korea, Tunisia and the United Arab Emirates.
